✔ Friday evening: we meet, socialize, do an individual equipment check and discuss the next day's route.
✔ Saturday: We start early in the morning on the route, around 07.30. Being a long route, it is preferable to start early to have as much light as possible. We will cross the forest floor, climbing vigorously towards the alpine gap, with excellent views of the cut massif, but also of the neighbors: the Godeanu and Țarcu Mountains! Along the way we will have leisurely time to discuss various aspects of a winter mountain tour, potential dangers, suitable equipment, etc.
Route duration: 5-6 hours
Difference in level: ~ 450 m
Route length: ~ 10-11 km
✔ Sunday: After a well-deserved night of rest, the next day we do an easier tour. We travel by car approx. 40 minutes to the town of Federi, from where we start on a walk to Fundătura Ponorului, a wonderful land that charms us with its timeless energy. After a lap around the Dead End, we're back to the cars and then back home, having a challenging but magical weekend behind us!

Required equipment:

• Mountain boots for winter - with thick sole, waterproof material, thermally insulated
• Snow guards
• Corners (if you don't have them, contact us, we can borrow them for free within the limit of available pairs. Access to the last part of the route may depend on this accessory, but also on the state of the snow cover)
• Thick trekking pants or ski pants
• Leggings
• Down jacket or ski jacket
• Wind stopper
• T-shirts
• Body blouse (made of material that manages moisture well, e.g. merino wool)
• Waterproof gloves
• Hat & Buff
• Backpack 25-30 liters
• Frontal
• Sunscreen and lip balm
• Sunglasses
• Bottle of water, thermos
• Food

For your safety it is very important to have the right equipment for walking in the mountains in winter. If you do not have some of the equipment items mentioned above, please contact us so we can find a solution.

The tour includes:
- Mountain guide in the field
- Advice on the choice of equipment before the shift
- Collective safety equipment
- Professional snowshoes
- Advice and permanent feedback during the tour regarding the correct use of the equipment, as well as the analysis of the situations encountered on the route
- Quality pictures

The rate does not include:
• Meals, transport, accommodation

If you're from Timișoara and don't have transport, give us a sign and we can help you!

1. We reserve the right to change the tour schedule depending on the weather conditions or any other factor that could endanger the safety of the participants.
2. For accommodation, you can contact us to stay together at the same accommodation unit, or you can search for another preferred option if you wish
3. In case you have any doubts or need additional information, give us a sign and we can consult you on both equipment-related issues and logistics related to the shift
4. Minimum group to take the tour: 3 persons
5. Maximum number of seats: 8. Reservation of seats is made by paying an advance of 100 lei
